We love this place! Always consistent food and open on Sunday's (score!). Very friendly and very well priced.

My husband is obsessed with teriyaki so we've been trying different places.
I really likes this place because of the Bento box - I get a little bit of everything!
The two ladies that serves us every time are also very friendly. Whenever we dine in, they always check on us to make sure everything is ok.
bonus: they keep a bottle of the salad dressing at the table!!! I'm in love with the dressing! So good!!! -

Quoted 20 minutes, took 50 minutes, and then questioned when asking for my $1 salad. Acting as if I hadn't paid, until reviewing the receipt. Such poor service. Also, after a ridiculous wait, our food was cold.

Customer service was little unpleasant, along with that people just stare at you. The prices are good at the restaurant. The beef teriyaki is good but usually should get extra sauce because it wasn't it enough. Philadelphia roll was also pretty good, I do find odd tho that half is fresh and half is smoked. Also fact they told us we were wrong with saying we didn't have money on card but it went through too bank completed. You get no service in there also. Told them that it might be machine but lady's were rude and acted like I wasn't there when I tried to talk too her about the situation.

Well, I suppose I should pray for the two ladies working here instead of saying what happened. I just have a strong belief that people should treat others respectfully, especially if the other person happens to be a customer.
Let's just say they were not very friendly, and I suspect they said things they should not have in their own tongue because they knew it was wrong to do so. I hope this communicates my experience without doing anything but shining a light on the business so the owner can improve things. I also hope they claim this Yelp business and update their menus, since they are incorrect in terms of both content and price.
The food gets two or three stars and the service gets one star. The good news is they could improve their service without improving their food and get four stars if they tried. I place a lot of value in cultivating good relationships, keeping that glue called manners in place that binds our fragile society together, and that impacts my score for the place. What I witnessed looked like an attempt to remove this glue. I mean, this is most peoples' main window into Japanese behavior outside of traveling to Japan. How hard is it to make a good impression?
I accept things for what they are, but I will not come back unless the business claims this page and tries to remediate its course of behavior.
It looks like we need better teriyaki options in Federal Way. Maybe other people get treated better.
